VDU Assessment
All our assessors are fully trained to carry out comprehensive VDU Risk Assessments and meet all the specified requirements of the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and The Safety Health and Welfare at Work (General Applications) 2007
Our approach will ensure all aspects of the VDU/Workstation and the working environment are taken into account, this includes
- Display Screen
- Desk
- Chair
- Environment
- Daily routine
- Stress / Awareness
During each assessment environmental factors are recorded and documented; we take accurate readings of the following;
- lighting
- temperature
- humidity
- noise levels
Work Station Safety Guide
Each employee will be provided with a VDU/Workstation manual to reiterate what they have achieved during their assessment, complete with diagrams on postural techniques etc.
Each employee will be made fully aware of best practice in all aspects of ergonomics, work equipment arrangements and how to identify potential risks safeguarding against possible injury.
Documentation / Reports
Each assessment will be recorded on our web-based data centre, to include individual recommendations, corrective action and completion dates.
All assessments will be presented to the Employer along with an over all Managers Report.
