What Is A VDU Assessment

Visual Display Unit (VDU) Assessments are a legal requirement under the 2007 General Application Regulations and must be carried out on all computer workstations where an employee spends more than 1 hour per day.

The purpose of a VDU Assessment is to assess the individual impact of ergonomic and environmental factors on employees and to evaluate its compliance with current legislation.
